Крачка напред към по-достъпната терапия след инсулт

SOFIA, BULGARIA – The Sofia Municipality Bankya District officially announced today the start of renovation works in Saburov Park. This is part of a joint initiative by councilor Anna Stoykova, the leadership of the Bankya District, and the Association for Stroke and Aphasia  (ASA) to provide accessible post-stroke therapy.

The renovation works in the park include improving pathways, installing new benches, and creating specialized zones for physical therapy. The goal is to create a pleasant and safe environment that supports the recovery of people who have experienced a stroke.

The ASA expresses its gratitude for the understanding and willingness of the municipal leadership to support this important initiative.

“The cooperation and support we received from the Bankya District and personally from Mr. Markov are essential for the success of this initiative,” says the Chair of the Board of the Association for Stroke and Aphasia , Eng. Dorina Dobreva. “Together with councilor Anna Stoykova, they recognize the importance of accessible post-stroke therapy and have shown exceptional support for our mission.”

The Association for Stroke and Aphasia  eagerly anticipates the completion of the renovation works and the opportunities they will provide to the community – an open area for art therapy, a discussion zone, and a therapeutic gardening area. They hope this will be an important step towards improving the lives of people affected by stroke and aphasia.
