Асоциацията за инсулт и афазия – част от семейството на Международната асоциация за афазия

We are pleased to announce that the Association for Stroke and Aphasia (ASA) has officially become a member of the Association Internationale Aphasie (AIA). This represents a significant step forward in our efforts to raise awareness of aphasia and provide support to those affected by this condition.

The Chairman of the Board of the Association for Stroke and Aphasia, Eng. Dorina Dobreva, was awarded a high rating by the IAA for her dedication and personal commitment to the care of all victims, including her mother. In a letter from Mr. Jernej Sluga, President of the AIA, he expresses his satisfaction with the deepening of cooperation and the sharing of resources and valuable information that will strengthen the common efforts to improve the lives of people suffering from aphasia:

"We are extremely excited to welcome you as a member of the Association Internationale Aphasie. Sharing resources, valuable information and tools with your association in Bulgaria will undoubtedly strengthen our joint efforts to improve the lives of people with aphasia."

Over the past year, ASA has been addressing the problems of those affected by aphasia in Bulgaria. By making public the problem of the lack of accessible care for people suffering from this disease, the Association has simultaneously focused its efforts towards creating specific support tools. Thus, at the end of this year, the first information and communication materials available on our website appeared. This marked the beginning of our long-term strategy to improve the quality of life of those affected and their families.

We look forward to working together with the AIA and are confident that our joint efforts will have a significant impact both in Bulgaria and abroad.
